In 2004, the company Silent Wings AS was established to develop, market, and
sell software for flight simulation. The primary application is to simulate physically
correct flights of soaring planes. The core technology was developed prior to
establishment of Simula by personnel who worked at Simula until 2007. Certain
components of the Silent Wings technology are in use in the educational software
developed by World Beside AS. Simula sold its shares in 2008.
