The goal of SimTel Innovation is to conduct high quality research and innovation within the fields of telecom, information technology and media. SimTel Innovation will focus on research topics with a high potential for innovation and commercialization.

Mango stands for "Modular architecture and economic modelling of multilink networks" and is a project where SI collaborates closely with Lividi As and Telenor Research and Innovation.
EstimationWeb
Cost estimates for software development projects are frequently inaccurate; the average overrun in software projects is 30-40%. Unrealistic estimates lead to poor project plans and inefficient use of mancial and human resources, and are an important cause of IT project failure. The project EstimationWeb plan to develop a set of estimation tools, and to verify its commercial potential. This plan builds upon the promising results of studies by the research project on cost estimation (BEST).
