Simula and Jørgensen top-ranked within software engineering

Professor Magne Jørgensen is for the fourth year in a row ranked as the world’s most productive researcher within software engineering in a ranking conducted by the Journal of Systems and Software. This years' ranking also places Simula Research Laboratory on top as the most productive research institution within the field.

The Journal of Systems and Software has recently announced this years’ evaluation of the world’s most productive researchers and research institutions within the field. The survey is an ongoing, annual event that identifies the top 15 scholars and institutions for the five-year period. The rankings are based on the number of papers published in the leading journals within the field, and around 4000 scholars worldwide have been evaluated. 

Jørgensen is for the fourth period in a row ranked as the most published scholar in the field of systems and software engineering. Also, after holding the second place for two periods, Simula is now ranked as the most productive research institution within the field, passing the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology that were top-ranked the previous period.
