I am a PhD student focusing on modeling parallel and distributed applications.  In my thesis, I use the theory of Kahn process networks to describe parallel applications as a collection of sequential programs communicating by messages. Furthermore, I explore how Kahn process networks can be efficiently implemented and scheduled.
