Verdione - Technology for Mixed-Reality Stages
Verdione is a collaborative research project that aims to develop robust video processing and dependable networking support for a world-wide mixed-reality stage at the World Opera. Our technologies will enable singers and musicians to enact a joint opera performance across different geographical locations, where remote actors are virtually embedded into the local stage environment.

ADIMUS - Adapted Internet Multimedia Streaming
ADIMUS addresses the problem of enhancing the quality of multimedia streams at run-time. It develops methods to configure delivery systems in order to maximize the end-user's subjective experience, the perceived quality, and to adapt the system in response to changes in the resource availability.
HyStream - Hybrid Peer-to-Peer Technology for Scalable Commercial Video Streaming in the Internet
HyStream aims the development of mechanisms, techniques and protocols that seamlessly take different available resources needed for streaming over the Internet into account, mixing and integrating ideas from both hierarchical and P2P distribution systems.
Perceval - Perceptual and Cognitive Quality Evaluation Techniques for Audiovisual Systems
Perceval aims to develop a novel approach to multi-modal quality assessment for audiovisual systems by considering cognitive, perceptual and affective quality attributes. We approach the challenges with an interdisciplinary research team, consisting of researches from cognitive psychology, sensory analysis of food and multimedia technology.
