Abstract
We present a study of the numerical algorithms for solving a transport equation that is used to model non-Newtonian flow, the grade-two model
of Rivlin and Ericsen. Using the FEniCS software project, we are able to perform simulations with numerous algorithms in various domains. This study gives a comparison to the both known and unknown convergence results in the hope to guide application.
