Thursday, april 24, at 10.00 PhD student Kristoffer Russel from Rikshospitalet will give a talk:

Dyssynchrony of the left ventricle: electrical and mechanical causes.

What is ventricular dyssynchrony and why is it important? How can it be corrected? We have studied electrical and mechanical causes in an experimental animal model. By better understanding the pathophysiology we hope to be able to differentiate between underlying mechanisms. We will present some of our findings and go through some of the hearts basic physiology and principles concerning this area.

The talk will be in Bakrommet.
