Seminar on 1D Network Models for Blood Flow; Implementational Issues - May 8, 2008

The purpose of the workshop is to precisely formulate a generic mathematical model for averaged 1D network models for blood flow. Precise numerical methods and coupling conditions for the tubes will be discussed and written up such that the participants can use the afternoon to implement the complete model in their computer codes. This exercise forms a basis for identifying research topics in the modeling and numerical performance of 1D network models.
