Simula@BI has a range of planned activities this fall. Below, you’ll find a summary of the highlights.

Simula@BI's weekly research seminars consisting of talks on fundamental and applied research within statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence will continue this fall. The first seminar will take place on September 23rd at 13:30. Check out the full program and sign up for the seminar series here.

Simula@BI will host a workshop on ‘Applying NLP in the socio-economic sciences’ on October 21st. If you are interested in participating, please contact Erlend Aune (erlend.aune@bi.no).

On November 29th, the official opening of Simula@BI will take place at BI’s campus in Nydalen. The full program will be announced as the date approaches.

We´re hiring a new researcher for the collaboration!

The Department of Data Science and Analytics at BI Norwegian Business School is hiring an associate professor in Data Science. Applications from all relevant fields are welcome, with a preference for candidates with a background in machine learning, statistical learning and/or artificial intelligence. The employee will be closely affiliated with both Simula@BI and Simula. Please see the job advertisement for a complete description of the position and information on how to apply.
