Researcher of the Decade
In 2011 and in 2022, Tveito awarded the Researcher of the Decade for outstanding contributions in the field of research, and to Simula as an organisation.
2021 Researcher of the Decade
Prof. Olav Lysne was awarded the 2021 Researcher of the Decade, by Prof. Aslak Tveito (CEO of Simula). The award was presented during Simula's 20th anniversary celebrations in June of 2022

Researcher of the Year
The Simula Research Award is presented annually (since 2002) to honour excellent contributions to research undertaken at Simula that lead to new insight within the field.
