Unlocking the Potential of Digital Twins for Software Systems

Unlocking the Potential of Digital Twins for Software Systems

Crafting digital twins for diverse software systems.

Digital twins for software systems are getting significant attention in the industry. Several sectors in Norway have seen the potential benefits of digital twins in their practice. This topic focuses on developing digital twins for various software systems to support advanced analyses. In particular, you have the choice to select one of the following systems that you would like to work with: Topic 1: Digital Twins for Self-Driving Cars: You will focus on building digital twins for self-driving cars based on open-source simulators such as Carla, etc. Topic 2: Digital Twins for Rovers: You will focus on building digital twins for rovers applications. You will have access to a rover (Leo Rover) with open source code in the department. Topic 3: Digital Twins for Elevators: You will build a digital twin for elevators. The case study will be provided by Orona, Spain, who makes commercial elevators. Topic 4: Moreover, beyond the topics mentioned above, you have the freedom to explore additional software systems of your preference for constructing digital twins.
