Glenn Terje Lines received his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from the department of Informatics at the University in Oslo, Norway, in 1994 and 1999, respectively. He joined Simula as a post doctor in 2001.

Lines holds a part time position at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo. He responsible for the course Mathematical Models in Medicine in addition to supervising master- and PhD-students.

His research interests include numerical methods for partial differential equations and computer simulation of cardiac electrophysiology.
