Glenn Terje Lines received his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from the department of Informatics at the University in Oslo, Norway, in 1994 and 1999, respectively. In his doctoral thesis he developed a simulator for the electrical activity of the heart. He joined Simula as a post doctor in 2001 and has has headed the project Cardiac Computations since 2002.
His research interests include numerical methods for partial differential equations and computer simulation of cardiac electrophysiology. A detailed description of the research can be found on the project page .
Lines holds a part time position at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo. He responsible for the course Mathematical Models in Medicine in addition to supervising master- and PhD-students.
