My Ph.D is in the area of retrieval from  multimedia sources, in particular monophonic music sources. I have since moved over to study problems relating to interconnects. My work so far has been based on QoS in source-routed loss-less networks. These days I'm looking at interconnect issues for many-core CPUs. As the number of cores within a CPU grows, there are a number of interconnect issues that must be addressed including QoS, routing, job management, congestion management etc. Check out my publications or send me an email if you want further details.
