Victorien Prot received his PhD in Structural Engineering at the Department of Structural Engineering, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology of Trondheim in 2008. He is now working as a Postdoctoral research fellow at the Center of Biomedical Computing, Simula School of Research. Currently, Prot is working on the numerical modelling of the mitral valve.

Research interests: Biomechanics, mitral valve mechanics, finite element method.
